Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

Gulel OTT ("the Service"), at thegulel.com and in the Gulel apps for iOS and Android, is operated by Gulel Entertainment("we", "us"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Use of the Service

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Gulel OTT. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must agree to these Terms for you, and any purchase must be made by them or with their permission. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3. Coins

Gulel Coins are a virtual currency used to unlock premium episodes. The price of each episode in coins is shown before you unlock it, and an unlocked episode stays unlocked on your account. Coins are delivered as soon as your payment is confirmed. Coins have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and cannot be transferred between accounts. They are non-refundable once delivered, except as set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy or where the law requires. We may change coin pack prices and episode coin prices for future purchases at any time; this does not affect coins you already have or episodes you have already unlocked.

4. VIP Subscriptions

• VIP gives you access to every episode without spending coins for as long as your subscription is active.
• Automatic renewal: VIP renews automatically at the end of each billing period (week, month or year) and you are charged the plan price then in effect, until you cancel. In India, recurring payments are collected under the mandate you authorise (UPI Autopay, card or netbanking) in line with Reserve Bank of India rules.
• Cancelling: you can cancel a VIP subscription bought on our website at any time on the VIP page, or by emailing us. You keep VIP until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you are not charged again. Subscriptions bought in the iOS or Android app are billed and cancelled through the App Store or Google Play.
• Price changes: we will tell you before a price change applies to your subscription. The new price applies from your next renewal, and you can cancel before then.
• If a renewal payment fails, we or the payment provider may retry it. If it still fails, VIP ends.

5. Payments, Prices and Taxes

Prices are shown on the Pricing page and at checkout, and include all applicable taxes. Payments on our website are processed by Razorpay (India) and Stripe (other countries). In-app purchases are processed by Apple or Google. We never see or store your full card or bank details. You confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method you choose.

6. Refunds and Delivery

Refunds and cancellations are covered by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, and delivery of coins and VIP by our Delivery Policy. Both form part of these Terms.

7. Content Licensing

All content on Gulel OTT — including videos, images, and text — is owned by Gulel Entertainment or its licensors. You are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to stream content for personal, non-commercial use. Downloading, copying, re-distributing, or sharing content outside the platform is strictly prohibited.

8. Prohibited Conduct

• Circumventing or attempting to circumvent our paywall or access controls.
• Using automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service.
• Sharing account credentials with others.
• Uploading or distributing malware, spam, or harmful content.
• Impersonating other users or Gulel staff.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gulel Entertainment shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, without prior notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Unused coins are forfeited upon termination for cause. You can delete your account at any time (see how to delete your account).

12. YouTube

Some Gulel videos are published on our YouTube channels using YouTube API Services. When you watch or interact with them on YouTube, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and the Google Privacy Policy describes how Google handles your data there. Section 10 of our Privacy Policy explains how we use YouTube API Services.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to your rights as a consumer, the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. Nothing here stops you from approaching a consumer commission, or, if you live outside India, from relying on the mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live.

14. Grievances

Complaints about content, purchases or your personal data can be raised with our Grievance Officer. See Grievance Redressal for their details and our response timelines.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via the app or email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
